Reports in England claim Championship side Wolves are interested in Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

The forward spent last season on loan with Milan, but the Rossoneri opted not to make the move permanent and he’s not wanted at Anfield.

Chievo, Lazio and Bologna are looking to bring him back to Serie A, but they’d need Liverpool to pay most of Balotelli’s €6m per year wages.

Now the Daily Express is reporting that Walter Zenga’s Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested, with the potential move to be funded by new Chinese owners Fosun.

However, it appears unlikely that Balotelli would drop down a division, having already rejected advances from Turkey.
