Andrea Bertolacci will be out for at least two weeks with a thigh injury, Milan have officially confirmed.
The midfielder came on as a substitute against Torino, but was almost immediately stretchered off again with an injury.
“AC Milan announces that during yesterday's match Milan-Torino, Andrea Bertolacci, suffered a muscular injury to his left thigh,” the Rossoneri announced on their official website.
“The player will undergo further medical exams in two weeks time.”
The Diavolo won 3-2 against the Granata, with Gigi Donnarumma saving a last-minute penalty to secure the three points in Vincenzo Montella’s first competitive game.
