Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli has been proposed to Everton by agent Mino Raiola and is seen as an alternative to Manolo Gabbiadini.
There was a sudden surge in bets placed on Balotelli crossing the city to Everton and SportItalia claim that’s because agent Raiola called the Toffees to offer his services.
Everton are certainly looking for a centre-forward, but are in advanced negotiations with Napoli for €30m Gabbiadini.
Balotelli would therefore be an alternative in case Gabbiadini falls through.
The striker was told he has no place in Jurgen Klopp’s side, so has to find a new club this summer, but it is proving difficult.
Chievo will only take SuperMario on loan if Liverpool pay most of his wages, while Sassuolo weren’t even ready to take him in those circumstances.
Bologna are believed to be in negotiations with the former Italy international.
