Milan have reportedly hijacked Cagliari’s move for Matias Fernandez – and plan to use the Fiorentina attacking midfielder as a regista.
According to Calciomercato.com, a phone conversation between Milan boss Vincenzo Montella and Fernandez has proved “decisive” in the Chilean reuniting with his former Viola Coach.
The ex-Villarreal man’s agent is also on record as saying that Montella “really likes” his client.
