Adriano Galliani’s Milan future will reportedly be decided by current President Silvio Berlusconi.
Chinese conglomerate Sino-Europe Sports is in the process of buying the Rossoneri, with the deal expected to be closed by the end of the year.
It had been assumed that the new owners would appoint an entirely new board, with Marco Fassone to take over as the club’s CEO.
Joint-CEO Adriano Galliani currently handles transfer business, and was expected to move on but it appears his departure is not set in stone.
According to Il Giornale, Fassone will arrive but talks will also be held with Galliani, with Berlusconi personally deciding on his future.
The current owner is expected to stay with the club as honorary President, at least for the first few years of the new ownership.
