Bologna confirm goalkeeper Alfred Gomis is out for 30-40 days after breaking his hand, leaving the club without a shot-stopper.
Gomis was only signed on loan from Torino on deadline day because Antonio Mirante was taken ill and is undergoing tests for cardiac arrhythmia.
However, Gomis fractured the fifth metacarpal bone in his right hand during training.
He underwent surgery to stabilise it today and a statement confirms Gomis will be out for 30-40 days.
