The Bosnian found the net in a 3-1 Serie A victory over Sassuolo this evening.

“We won, that is the most important thing, as we are happy with the three points, but we can do even better,” Pjanic told JTV.

“We prepared well for the game against Sassuolo, who are a really good team, but we could’ve been more determined in front of goal and scored a couple more.

“We have so many excellent players in the squad and are playing to achieve great objectives. We can do that all together.”

Mario Lemina was unusually the deep-lying playmaker, so Pjanic had more of a free role in midfield.

“I felt good there today, but I can be a playmaker too. Basically I can play anywhere the Coach wants.”

Juventus begin their Champions League campaign against Sevilla on Wednesday in Turin.

“They are a strong side accustomed to the European stage. We want to start in the best possible way with a victory.”
