The Delfini haven’t played in the top flight since 1992 and Coach Giovanni Stroppa takes over from Zdenek Zeman for his Serie A debut.

Alessandro Crescenzi is the only absentee for the home side, who sold stars like Marco Verratti, Lorenzo Insigne and Ciro Immobile over the summer.

Inter have a huge injury list in Pescara, missing Samir Handanovic, Cristian Chivu, Dejan Stankovic, Ricky Alvarez, Joel Obi, MacDonald Mariga and Gaby Mudingay.

Rodrigo Palacio is also suspended, so will have to wait until next week to make his League bow in a Nerazzurri jersey.

New buy Cassano is thrown in at the deep end just days after arriving from Milan in exchange for Giampaolo Pazzini.

He partners Diego Milito with support from Wesley Sneijder and another new arrival, ex-Napoli midfielder Gargano.
