Mirabelli past worries Milan?

Milan could be reconsidering Massimo Mirabelli for their role of sporting director following revelations about his past.

According to MilanLive.it, Marco Fassone’s choice of former Inter colleague Mirabelli for the position “has not convinced everyone”, with a more experienced candidate, preferably without Nerazzurri history, wanted.

Furthermore, La Repubblica has reported that the chief scout was handed a four-month ban by FIGC in 2011 as sporting director of Cosenza for “for having prepared and filed a fake contract worth €67,193.13 for the player [Fabio] Ceccarelli, designed to conceal the real economic agreement, the greater figure of €186,233, related to seasons between 2009 and 2012”.

The Calabrian team were also docked a point in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione, while Ceccarelli was suspended from playing for a month.
