There are reports Milan could release Mario Pasalic early from his loan after the Chelsea-owned midfielder struggled to get playing time.
Pasalic only arrived from Stamford Bridge on deadline day on a dry one-season loan deal.
So far his only appearance has been in a friendly against Bournemouth and failed to make a good impression.
Due to various injury problems, Pasalic has not played a competitive match since February.
According to calciomercato.it, he has dropped to the bottom of the hierarchy of midfielders in Vincenzo Montella’s eyes.
Pasalic is even behind teenager Manuel Locatelli, as everyone else has featured so far this season.
Andrea Bertolacci and Mati Fernandez are injured, so when they return, there will be even less space for the Croatian.
