Former Roma boss Rudi Garcia has been linked with taking over at French club Marseille.
The 52-year-old was in charge of the Giallorossi for two and a half years, guiding the club to two second place Serie A finishes.
Now, it has emerged that he is a contender to replace Franck Passi following the team’s poor start to the Ligue 1 season.
Just last week, with Inter’s Frank De Boer coming under increasing pressure following the poor start to his Nerazzurri tenure, Garcia was touted as a possible replacement at San Siro.
However, De Boer then masterminded a famous victory over Juventus, meaning his position now appears safe for the foreseeable future.
