Tottenham eye up Badelj?

English media report that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Fiorentina’s Milan Badelj.

The Croatian midfielder has been with the Viola since 2014 and has featured in all four Serie A matches the club has played so far this season.

The Sunday People claim that Spurs would only have to pay a fee of around £7m to secure the 27-year-old’s services, aided by the fact Badelj’s contract has less than two years left to run.

The player was linked with a transfer to Italian rivals Milan over the course of the summer transfer window, but a fee was not agreed between the clubs.
