Prandelli reportedly agreed a two-year contract to succeed Pako Ayestaran on Thursday, and the Coach made it clear he was Valencia-bound as he refused to answer questions about the fallen Spanish giants.

“Good luck on my Valencia adventure? Thank you, thank you,” he told Tuttosport.

“Good luck on my Valencia adventure? Thank you, thank you,” he told Tuttosport.

“But don’t ask me questions, I won’t speak, also in respect of the club. Please understand this.”

Prandelli also commented on the return of Pantaleo Corvino to Fiorentina as sporting director.

“When a club bring back a sporting director, Coach or player, it’s because the distance made the board think that maybe [the club] were wrong to send them away,” the ex-Viola boss added.

“For Corvino, this is great professional and human payback. Congratulations. He’s also very good at discovering talent.”
