Simone Inzaghi admits Lucas Biglia’s injury “is a huge burden” for Lazio ahead of Udinese on Saturday, but his side “must try to make do without him”.

Biglia reportedly tore his thigh in Lazio’s 2-0 win against Empoli last weekend, prompting fears of a three-month layoff, but while Inzaghi believes “it will be difficult without one of Europe’s best”, the Biancocelesti cannot dwell on their loss.

Biglia reportedly tore his thigh in Lazio’s 2-0 win against Empoli last weekend, prompting fears of a three-month layoff, but while Inzaghi believes “it will be difficult without one of Europe’s best”, the Biancocelesti cannot dwell on their loss.

“Without Biglia, things change a lot. His absence is a huge burden,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

“I think that in his role, he’s among the best in Europe. An injury can happen and will happen, so we must try to make do without him.

“I know it’ll be difficult, but we’ve already proved that we can. There will then be a break and we’ll be halfway through Lucas’ recovery.

“Free agents? We’ve never talked about them. Marchetti and Basta are coming back. For Biglia and Bastos, they need longer.”
