The midfielder spoke to reporters while on international duty, but never strays far from his beloved Stadio San Paolo.
“At the start of the season we were head-to-head with Juventus, now we are four points behind, but there’s enough time for us to make up lost ground,” said Hamsik.
“We have not changed Coach and only lost one key player, but signed five or six really good new buys.

“My biggest sporting dream is to win the Scudetto with Napoli. And, naturally, to get Slovakia into both the World Cup and the European Championships again.”
Hamsik scored over 100 goals in a Napoli jersey, so is he close to beating Diego Armando Maradona’s all-time club record of 115?
“Records are made to be broken. I still have a good chunk of my career left, so I can do even better. I am honoured to be there with Diego, but he was on another level.”
