Sassuolo’s appeal over the three points awarded to Pescara has been thrown out by the Corte Sportiva.

The Neroverdi won 2-1 against the newly-promoted side in Week 2, but were sanctioned for including Antonino Ragusa in their 25-man squad without submitting the proper documentation.

That resulted in the Lega Serie A awarding the match to the Delfini 3-0, but the Emilian side appealed, insisting that they had filed the correct form.
