Only one point separates them in the table and they go head-to-head at the Stadio San Paolo.

“Napoli and Roma are leaving us accustomed to sitting near the top of the table, so these are always huge games between them,” former Giallorossi President Sensi told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“For whoever loses, it’s going to be much more difficult to go forward and challenge Juventus for the Scudetto. Saturday’s game will be a big test for both of these teams.

“We’ll see if Manolo Gabbiadini can make Napoli forget about Arkadiusz Milik, while I hope Edin Dzeko can continue contributing to the side the way he has in recent meetings.”

There is a lot of tension between the sets of fans, especially since Napoli supporter Ciro Esposito was shot dead by a Roma ultra’, so visiting fans will not be present at the San Paolo.

There was an attempt to bridge that gap in last night’s charity match, when Francesco Totti played with Napoli legend Diego Maradona.

“That embrace was a wonderful signal, tying the past to the present and showing the way for what will be future games between Napoli and Roma,” added Sensi.
