Former Roma Coach Rudi Garcia turned down a job with the Algeria national team, claims L’Equipe.

They need a replacement after Milovan Rajevac resigned on Tuesday.

The French tactician was named as one of the candidates for the role along with Alain Perrin, Paul Le Guen, Rolland Courbis and Marc Wilmots.

According to L’Equipe, Garcia was offered the position of international manager with Algeria, but turned them down.

He has been unemployed since Roma fired him in January to make way for Luciano Spalletti.
