Former Paris Saint-Germain director of football Leonardo has praised Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi, revealing he wanted him ‘three years ago’.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the former Milan player stated that tried to bring the 25-year-old to France, but Roma have always stood firm in their defence of such a valuable player.
“Florenzi? I thought about bringing him to Paris three years ago," the ex-PSG chief said.
“He is a player that I love, he can play anywhere."
