Roma will be without Bruno Peres for the next two weeks after the Brazilian picked up a thigh injury in training on Friday.

Peres did not feature in Roma’s 3-1 defeat to Napoli on Saturday as Juan Jesus filled in for his countryman at left-back.

“Bruno Peres today underwent tests that showed a grade-one injury to his pectineus muscle in his right adductor,” read a statement on the Giallorossi’s official website.

Roma will be without Bruno Peres for the next two weeks after the Brazilian picked up a thigh injury in training on Friday.

Peres did not feature in Roma’s 3-1 defeat to Napoli on Saturday as Juan Jesus filled in for his countryman at left-back.

“Bruno Peres today underwent tests that showed a grade-one injury to his pectineus muscle in his right adductor,” read a statement on the Giallorossi’s official website.

“The Brazilian full-back, who has so far racked up 10 appearances this season and stopped training at the conditioning stage on Friday ahead of the Napoli-Roma match, has already begun the rehabilitation process as expected. Today’s prognosis is estimated to be about fifteen days.”
