Sampdoria have officially announced the appointment of Daniele Prade as their new technical director.
The former Roma and Fiorentina sporting director had been widely tipped to take on a role at Marassi, and today it has been confirmed.
“UC Sampdoria announces that, from today, Daniele Prade will hold the role of technical director,” a statement from the Blucerchiati confirmed.
“President Massimo Ferrero and all members of the club wish him good work.”

Prade came in for criticism for his work at Fiorentina, with the Viola ultimately replacing him with Panteleo Corvino this summer.
