Manolo Gabbiadini’s struggles at Napoli could prompt Everton to renew their offer in January, according to Italian reports.

The Toffees had already been in advanced negotiations for the forward over the summer, offering well over €25m.

Napoli and the player turned them down, but since then the situation has changed.

Arkadiusz Milik’s injury forced all the goal-scoring pressure on to the 24-year-old and he has struggled to deliver as a classic centre-forward.

According to Rai Sport, Everton are eyeing up the situation and prepared to renew their offer in the January transfer window.

Considering his problems fitting into Coach Maurizio Sarri’s system and the need for a genuine Milik understudy, Napoli would be more likely to accept.

They can then use that money to sign a forward more suited to the role, with options including Simone Zaza, Nikola Kalinic and Leonardo Pavoletti.
