“We took a big step forward at Napoli, then didn’t do as well in the Europa League. Tonight we must do better,” Nainggolan told Mediaset Premium.

“Winning tonight would give meaning to the Napoli result. We have only one objective: the victory.”

The Giallorossi can close to within two points of leaders Juventus, who lost 1-0 at Milan last night.

However, Roma were 3-1 up in the Europa League on Thursday and fumbled it for a 3-3 draw.

“The problem against Austria Vienna was we believed we’d already won and that was a big mistake. Today we are focused and I hope it never happens again.”
