Alessandro Florenzi has left Roma's Villa Stuart treatment centre after undergoing cruciate ligament surgery.

The Italian international ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during the second half of his side's victory over Sassuolo last week and commented on his surgeon's assertion that he could make a return to the lineup within three months.

"I'm fine, step by step I'll come back," he told reporters after exiting the medical centre on crutches. "A recovery in 100 days? We'll see."
