"I do not know, however, he has important qualities," the Coach told Gazzetta dello Sport. "In training he was not in shape, maybe he was not used to training well.

"Now he is in great physical condition. I'm curious to see how he evolves. The Coach can not give players more than they have already, but can help to get the most out of them. I’m trying with Petagna and the others."

After it was revealed that there is interest from the Premier League for Kessie, how does the Coach assess the player's abilities?

"Technically he has a good foundation and an impressive physical dominance. I guess he can play one day at a big club.

"This is because there is a need for players with his physicality, the Italian teams in do not suffer tactically or technically, but physically. In other leagues there is greater intensity.

"In Italy we have lost the taste for the game in trying to catch up with the gap in athleticism.

"Kessie, in this sense, can become an important player because he has everything."
