Liechtenstein Coach Rene Pauritsch insists they “have no fear, even if there is great respect for Italy” ahead of tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier.

It kicks off in Vaduz on Saturday at 19.45 GMT.

“We have no fear for any opponent, even if there is great respect for Italy and their quality,” said the Austrian tactician in his Press conference.

“The Azzurri proved at Euro 2016 that they are a great team and we know full well it will be a difficult match for us.

“Italy will be highly-motivated, as we know they need to win and score many goals to seek direct qualification, but that is not a new situation for us. Nobody here will be offended if they make these types of calculations.

“We want to make life difficult for the Nazionale, just as we did in the first 55 minutes against Spain.”

It’s worth noting that eventually Spain won that match 8-0.

Giampiero Ventura is ready to unleash a new 4-2-4 system in this game and next week’s friendly with Germany.

“So far Italy have played with one tactical system and we know tomorrow they will use another, but we’ll hopefully not be taken by surprise.”
