While the Argentines are hoping to get slightly more, Juventus have a cast-iron clause allowing them to sign the player for €9.4m.

Bentancur will remain at Boca Juniors for another six months and be ready to make the move to Turin in June 2017.

There has also been interest from Milan, who were offering €15m over the summer, but Juventus refused to relinquish their option.
