Sevilla are linked with a recall for Carlos Bacca after reports Napoli rejected the Milan striker due to his wages.

The Colombia international cost €30m just over a year ago, but this season is struggling to fit into Coach Vincenzo Montella’s system.

He has fired blanks in his last four Serie A games and there are rumours he’ll be dropped in favour of Gianluca Lapadula for the Milan Derby.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla are interested in bringing Bacca back to his old club, but they’d prefer to take him on loan.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been repeatedly linked, while over the summer Milan had accepted a €30m fee from West Ham United, but the striker couldn’t agree personal terms.

Italian newspaper Il Mattino suggests Milan proposed Bacca to Napoli as a solution to their centre-forward problems.

However, the Partenopei turned him down, as his €4.5m per season wages are too high for someone who would effectively just be filling in during the Arkadiusz Milik injury.
