Genoa are reportedly considering Milan’s Luiz Adriano as a replacement if Leonardo Pavoletti joins Napoli.
Pavoletti has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Partenopei, and though the Grifone have declared that he’s not for sale, Il Secolo XIX says contingency plans are being drawn-up.
Luiz Adriano is out of favour at Milan, having played just 85 minutes in Serie A so far this season, with the Brazilian hooked at half-time against Sassuolo.

The newspaper believes Genoa are considering him as an alternative to Pavoletti, but his €3m per season wages would represent a big obstacle.
Given the relationship between the two clubs, it’s possible the Rossoneri could agree to a loan deal for the rest of the season.
