Radja Nainggolan believes Roma “can catch Juventus” and wants to spend many more years with the Giallorossi.
The Belgium international gave an interview for the Match Program to celebrate his upcoming 100th Serie A appearance for the club – against Atalanta this weekend it’ll be the 99th.
“There can be many more, as I hope to continue wearing this jersey for a long time. I’ve always been happy here and my fondest memories are probably the Rome Derby victories.

“There can be many more, as I hope to continue wearing this jersey for a long time. I’ve always been happy here and my fondest memories are probably the Rome Derby victories.
“I had a few fitness problems and didn’t get to rest much after Euro 2016, but I am close to 100 per cent now. My style of football has always been that of a warrior. In every game and every training session, I demand the best out of myself.”
Roma are currently second in the Serie A standings and emerging as the most likely Scudetto contenders to Juventus.
“We are more confident now and when the positive results started coming in, it created momentum, so everything seemed easier. We play in a very direct manner and try to hurt the opposition defence whenever possible.
“There is a different atmosphere in the locker room. In the table there are teams in the top places who don’t play better football than us, so seeing that increases our confidence that we can achieve something important.
“Talking amongst ourselves we realised that other sides are struggling more than in previous years, so why not try to take advantage of that and do something great this season?
“I don’t know how far we can go, but we are working well and trying to do even better. Considering the way Juventus are playing right now, I think we can catch them, but it above all depends on us. If we don’t win a game, they could break away.”
