Geoffrey Kondogbia refused to talk about ex-Inter Coach Frank de Boer and told reporters to ignore his agent.

The midfielder got a rare start in the 2-2 Derby della Madonnina draw with Milan and provided the assist for Ivan Perisic in stoppages.

“We could’ve won, it’s a shame we started so well and then conceded that goal, but it was a good performance with a good attitude and we have to continue like this,” Kondogbia told reporters.

“I did pretty well, it was a normal performance from me. I could’ve done much better, I know what I can do.”

This was the debut under new Coach Stefano Pioli, as De Boer had dropped Kondogbia to the bench. What has changed?

“A bit of everything. We changed system for this match, but above all played with heart. We have quality, we all know it, and just needed to give it more heart. We must do this in the next games too.

"De Boer? I don't want to talk about that."

Today Kondogbia’s agent told France Football that Inter was “a stepping stone” to the biggest clubs in Europe.

“I am the player, so you have to listen to me, not other people,” was the midfielder’s response.

“If you have something to ask, then ask me and listen to my words.”
