Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic was keen to stress that interest from Napoli over the summer was 'only words' .
The 28-year-old also revealed that his whole family are crazy about football, and that his wife watches all the major European leagues on TV.
"I did not give weight to the rumors over the summer, the Croatian told La Nazione. "This is also because I don’t often read transfer speculation.
"As for the interest of Napoli, I can say that it was only words, but never anything concrete.

"Yes. And the referee did not book him….
"In the end we were all furious with referee [Antonio] Damato for what happened in the game, but protest is useless.
"We must in any case respect the referees. In our role, we can not judge them."
Could Fiorentina have secured a draw if it wasn’t for the officials?
