“We worked well during this week and know we are facing a quality side with few weak points, but our intention is to fight it out with our strengths,” said Nicola in his Press conference.

“We analysed their style and where they could cause us problems, working to limit those and figure out how to hurt this Milan.

“Djamel Mesbah is unavailable, so I will give Bruno Martella a chance to prove he can have a career at this level. I am accustomed to having two players for every role, so it’s not an issue.

“We are also evaluating other possible situations and potential changes. Playing at San Siro is always gratifying and we want to pick up points anywhere.

“Milan are a tough side, but we’re not going to be easy to face either.”

Crotone were beaten here 3-0 by Inter last month, but it was goalless until the final 10 minutes.

Aleksandar Tonev and Claiton Dos Santos are also on the treatment table.
