Massimo Oddo believes Pescara “tried in every possible way” to get the victory over 10-man Cagliari, but he’ll settle for a point.

The Delfini ended the rot of six consecutive defeats with a last-gasp Gianluca Caprari equaliser at the Stadio Adriatico.

“Caprari’s goal is very important, as we were about to suffer yet another undeserved defeat,” the Coach told Rai Sport of their 1-1 draw.

“Caprari’s goal is very important, as we were about to suffer yet another undeserved defeat,” the Coach told Rai Sport of their 1-1 draw.

“We tried in every possible way and created 11-12 clear scoring opportunities, but only managed to get the ball in the net in the final minute.

“It’s a result that certainly boosts our confidence, because the team is alive and kicking, giving its all, and that is enough for me.

“I did get very angry and worried after the (3-0 Coppa Italia defeat to Atalanta), but today I got the confirmation I was looking for. This team plays.”
