The fan favourite was dropped for several games by his Coach, but has now gone back to a starring role.
“Perhaps being on the bench did be good, as after all I wasn’t at my best at the start of the season,” Bernardeschi told Radio Bruno.

“Perhaps being on the bench did be good, as after all I wasn’t at my best at the start of the season,” Bernardeschi told Radio Bruno.
“I have a good rapport with Sousa. Of course, there were also moments when we did not agree on certain things. Without doubt we never lacked reciprocal respect.
“There are some regrets about this season, perhaps most of all the defeat to Inter, because even down to 10 men we caused them serious problems.”
