“The deal was done for Emanuele to join Torino, but then Napoli called. (Director Gianluca) Petrachi got very angry with me, but I told him Napoli were far more important than Torino and you can’t judge people on this in football.”
The Partenopei are in the Champions League and will take on Real Madrid in February.
“It’s fantastic, because there’s no chance if you meet Real Madrid in the final, but they can be beaten in the Round of 16. This game has to bring the best out of Napoli and I’m fired up already.”
