Italy international Antonio Candreva believes that 'all the right conditions are there' in order for club side Inter to succeed.

After assuring that the dream of a Champions League finish is still a possibility, the 29-year-old's throughts moved to the next game against Sassuolo, where Inter have lost their last two away matches.

"In the last away games against Sassuolo, Inter have not done very well and have no positive memories," Candreva continued in an interview with Corriere dello Sport.

"I have read that they have some players out injured, but in Serie A there are never any easy games.

"Sassuolo are a well-prepared side and are playing through a difficult time. Now is not the time to overthink things, we have to climb the league table."

The Rome-native spent five seasons with Lazio, who he will face with current side Inter in the final game before the Winter Break.

"The five seasons in Biancocelesti were unforgettable, the most beautiful of my career as a footballer. In Rome I left many friends and so many positive memories.

"I can only say a big thank you to all the people at Lazio.

"It will be a difficult game because they are above us in the standings and are having an extraordinary season.

"However, we have to beat them because they are a direct competitor for a place in Europe.

"If [Lucas] Biglia calls me, I will reply that we have so many good midfielders here. If he joined me in Milan, I would welcome him in a positive way, just as my colleagues have done with me."

What about Inter's disastrous Europa League campaign?

"In the sixth round of matches we went out. We apologise to our fans for the poor showing in the Europe, and now we have to concentrate on the league and the Coppa Italia."

Who will win the Scudetto this year?

"Juventus have killed the league in recent years. The others are behind and Juve will once again come first this time.

"I want to win with Inter. Entering the Sports Centre and see the photos of [Javier] Zanetti lifting the Champions League in Madrid gives me chills every time and reminds me that I am in a winning environment.

"Here we have all the right conditions to succeed and now it's up to us. I believe. We can start a great winning run."
