Tests on Daniele De Rossi “ruled out any muscle tear” after he picked up a calf injury in Roma’s defeat to Juventus.

The midfielder was substituted for Stephan El Shaarawy in the 72nd minute of the match in Turin, with fears he could be out for some time with a torn calf muscle.

It’s not yet clear if the Italian international will be fit to face Chievo on Thursday, but a serious injury has been ruled-out.
