The match kicks off on Friday at 16.30 GMT and it is a replay of the Coppa Italia Final in May, won by Juve in extra time.

“We are in good shape and could’ve beaten Roma and Atalanta, as we are playing well and are improving,” Suso told MilanNews.it.

“A final is always a little different and both teams will be fired up. Juventus are very strong, but we’ll do everything to win. We beat them at San Siro a couple of months ago and can do it again.

“We are a fine group of players, the Coach is doing a good job and we must continue like this.”

The Rossoneri were meant to be in Doha yesterday, but were held up in London by a mechanical fault on their plane, so only arrived this evening.

“It would’ve been better if we had arrived yesterday, but I think it’s more or less the same thing. A Final against Juventus is a very important opportunity to win and start changing things. After many years without silverware, it’s a great chance to make our mark.

“I prefer to play less well and win the game.”
