Paulo Dybala believes Juventus will prove their defeat to Milan was a fluke as they meet again in the Italian Super Cup.

It kicks off in Doha on Friday at 16.30 GMT.

The Bianconeri won the Coppa Italia Final in extra time in May and lost at San Siro when these sides clashed in Serie A.

“That game in Milan was affected by the Miralem Pjanic goal that was incorrectly disallowed, as that could’ve changed things,” Dybala told the official club website.

“I think on Friday it will be a very different game. We are coming off some important victories, are playing good football and are really fired up.

“We’ve done some great things so far, but mustn’t rest on our laurels. This is a very important match, we want to win the Super Cup again.”

Dybala was injured in the Milan game while trying to score from the centre-circle, but has made a couple of substitute appearances since his recovery. Will he start in Doha?

“It’s up to the Coach to decide who plays, but I am ready.”
