Bayern Munich and Chelsea are both reportedly interested in Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij.
The Dutchman missed most of last season with a knee injury, but he retuned to the Biancocelesti defence.
The centre-back is out of contract in the summer of 2018, and has admitted that no meeting has been set-up to discuss a renewal.
According to Il Tempo, that’s because De Vrij has already decided to leave the Aquile at the end of this season.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich are both thought to be keen to sign him, and the newspaper believes that with a big offer he could even make the move six months early.
The English club can afford to spend in January, as they have sold Oscar to Chinese side Shanghai SIPG for €70m.
