Milan are reportedly ‘very close’ to securing a loan deal for Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu.
According to La Repubblica, an agreement has been all-but reached for the 22-year-old former Barcelona man, who can also play in a forward role.
The Rossoneri are said to have negotiated a loan deal until the end of the season with the English club.
Having represented Spain at all international levels, Deulofeu was sent out on loan by former side Barcelona to Everton and then Sevilla, before re-joining the Toffees on a permanent basis in 2015.
Playing time in the Premier League has been limited this season however, with the youngster making just four appearances for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Milan have reportedly fended off interest from several Spanish clubs for the player, and could become an alternative to Suso and M’Baye Niang for Coach Vincenzo Montella.
