Milan Coach Vincenzo Montella admits that winning the Supercoppa was his ‘best moment as a Coach.’
The Rossoneri triumphed over holders Juventus in Doha last Friday, with Mario Pasalic scoring the winning penalty in the shootout after the match finished 1-1.
"I had a lovely Christmas with my family,” the 42-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. “But it was also enjoyable thanks to winning the cup.
"Winning a trophy is something memorable, and I think it's my best moment as a coach".
"When Pasalic scored, it seemed like the ball was not moving , it was not clear whether or not it would enter into the goal.
"I remember with pleasure the pictures with my brother and Nicola Caccia and all of us together with the Super Cup.
"And who will forget the picture when I get off the plane holding a cup along with [Adriano] Galliani.
"He was very happy and it was nice to share this triumph with him. “[Silvio] Berlusconi was also very happy and congratulated me, I was pleased.
"Myself and the team are glad to have given him and Milan another trophy."
