Napoli are reportedly considering raising the price of Manolo Gabbiadini, after the forward scored at the weekend.

It was previously suggested that Wolfsburg had offered €16m in exchange for the 25-year-old, but the Partenopei had stood firm on their €20m valuation for the player.

After scoring in the 2-1 victory over Sampdoria – in addition to a strike against Fiorentina before the Winter Break – Corriere dello Sport reports that the club may be looking for a higher fee.

The former Atalanta youth product does not fit with Coach Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system, and it has long been acknowledged that Napoli are ready to sell.

With multiple potential buyers including Southampton, Leicester, West Bromwich Albion, Stoke, Schalke and Wolfsburg, reports indicate that the Neapolitan club are ready to hold out for €20m at the very least.
