Arkadiusz Milik’s surgeon confirms the Napoli striker can return to training if tests tomorrow are positive.
The Polish international has been out since October with a cruciate ligament injury, but will be evaluated at Villa Stuart tomorrow ahead of a potential return to action.
“Milik will undergo a functional assessment,” Professor Pierpaolo Mariani said on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“He’ll have a series of orthopaedic tests in the gym and on the pitch, and of course he’ll have a scan.
“If these tests give positive feedback, the player can be involved in technical activity. In essence, he can return to training with the group.
“Then it will be up to Coach Maurizio Sarri to decide if he wants to call him up for the League game.”
