Udinese have reportedly agreed a €4.5m plus bonuses deal for Carpi striker Kevin Lasagna.
He had also been heavily linked with Sampdoria, but Sky Sport Italia claim the Friulani have won the race.
The 24-year-old impressed during his debut Serie A season, scoring five goals with three assists in 36 top flight appearances, many of them off the bench.
So far this term he has nine goals and two assists in 21 Serie B games for Carpi.
It’s believed Lasagna will remain at Carpi until the end of the season.
Carpi are also expected to receive a percentage of any future sale as part of the transfer.
