Rubinho is set for a return to Genoa, as they seek a replacement for injured goalkeeper Mattia Perin.
The Brazilian made 95 Serie A appearances for the Grifone between 2006 and 2009, before leaving to join Palermo.
Following a spell at Juventus where he won four Scudetti despite just two appearances, Rubinho moved to Lega Pro side Como in the summer.
However, Sky and calciomercato.com are reporting that the 34-year-old will return to Genoa, as cover for Perin.
The Italian international ruptured his cruciate ligament, just months after returning from the same injury in his other knee.
