“Am I nervous? We’re not going to war!” smiled the Coach in his Press conference.

“I am very relaxed. We are entering into a Serie A season, it’s a wonderful experience. We’ve got 11 players and so do they. We need to have a winning mentality and not be reverential to Napoli.

“Napoli will step on to the field aiming to win and we must do the same with an attacking approach. There are going to be difficult moments, but I have faith in my lads.

“I won’t be happy with a draw, because in football nothing can be taken for granted, even if Napoli play good football and have excellent individual talents.”

Robert Muric arrived on loan from Ajax, but is not included in the squad because he has only just started training.

Oddo has to choose between Andrea Coda and Dario Zuparic to partner Norbert Gyomber at centre-back, while Bryan Cristante is battling Gaston Brugman for a midfield slot.

Albania international Rey Manaj is the favourite to start with Gianluca Caprari and Ahmad Benali in support.

Another alternative would be using Caprari as a False Nine with Valerio Verre in a more advanced role.
