The son of former Parma and Viola striker Enrico Chiesa came up through the youth academy in Florence.
He made his Serie A debut against Juventus in August 2016 and has since become a regular in the side.
Six months on from that day, 19-year-old Chiesa has put pen to paper on a new deal.
He had been under contract until June 2020.
