Gian Piero Gasperini believes the outcome of Atalanta's match with Lazio could shape La Dea's season.
The Bergamo club have had an excellent campaign to date and remain in contention for Champions League football at the halfway point.
"I expect a different type of match to the previous one played against them," Gasperini said of his side's chances at the Stadio Olimpico. "We have changed and grown since then.
"Lazio are a very good team with important values. They showed it for all of the first half of the season.
"We know it will be very difficult, but we also know that this game could shape our League position. With a big result here, we will be able to look at the table in a different way.
"We will go to Rome to take on Lazio with hope and confidence of starting the second half of the season well."
The two teams last met on the opening day of the Serie A season, with the Biancocelesti winning 4-3 in a Bergamo thriller.
